Terms of Service
These terms explain what you can expect from us and what we ask of you when you use this website, request a quote, or book a consultation.
Last updated: August 5, 20261. Agreement to these terms
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time, and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always show when we last did.
2. Who we are
DataCleanHub is a web design, development, and social media management company headquartered at 1405 Mimosa Lane, Silver Spring, Maryland 20904, United States. In these terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to DataCleanHub, and "you" refers to anyone using this website.
3. Using this website
You may browse this website and contact us freely. When you use the site, you agree not to:
- Use it for anything unlawful, or in a way that breaks any applicable law or regulation.
- Submit false information, impersonate anyone else, or use someone else's contact details.
- Send spam, advertising, or automated submissions through our forms or chat assistant.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or any connected system.
- Interfere with the site's operation, including by scraping it at a volume that degrades service for others.
- Copy, republish, or resell our website content without our written permission.
We may restrict access to the site if we reasonably believe someone is breaking these rules.
4. Quotes and services
The descriptions, timelines, and price ranges on this website are provided for general guidance. They are not a binding offer.
- A quote becomes binding only when we put it in writing for your specific project and you accept it.
- Timelines given on this site, such as two to four weeks for a standard website, are typical estimates. Actual delivery depends on project scope, how quickly content and feedback are provided, and any third-party services involved.
- The terms of any project we take on — scope, payment schedule, revisions, ownership of deliverables, hosting, and support — are set out in the separate agreement we sign with you before work begins. Where that agreement differs from these terms, the project agreement governs the work.
5. Consultations and bookings
Initial consultations are free and carry no obligation on either side. When you book through this website:
- Your booking is a request until we confirm it. We will confirm by email.
- Appointment times are shown in Eastern Time, and our availability is weekdays from 8 AM to 6 PM.
- You can reschedule or cancel by replying to your confirmation email or contacting us. We ask for reasonable notice so we can offer the slot to someone else.
- We may need to reschedule occasionally. If that happens, we will contact you as early as we can and offer alternatives.
- Advice given during a free consultation is general in nature and provided in good faith. It does not create a client relationship on its own.
6. Content you submit
This includes blog comments, testimonials, and messages you send through our forms or chat assistant. When you submit content:
- You confirm it is your own, it is accurate, and you have the right to share it with us.
- You give us permission to publish it on our website and in our marketing materials, alongside the name, company, and role you provided. This applies to testimonials and approved comments.
- You agree not to submit anything unlawful, misleading, offensive, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- We review comments and testimonials before publishing, and we may edit for length or clarity, decline to publish, or remove content later at our discretion.
- You can ask us to remove content you submitted at any time by emailing us.
7. Intellectual property
The content of this website — including its text, design, layout, graphics, logo, and code — belongs to DataCleanHub and is protected by intellectual property law. You may view and share links to our pages, but you may not copy, reproduce, or adapt our content for commercial use without our written permission.
Project work we produce for clients is covered by the individual project agreement, which sets out who owns what and when ownership transfers. Client names, logos, and project images shown in our portfolio remain the property of those clients and are displayed with their permission.
8. Third-party links and tools
This website links to other websites and uses third-party services, including Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA, and the AI model that powers our chat assistant. We do not control those websites or services and are not responsible for their content or their practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
About our chat assistant: replies are generated automatically and may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate. Please treat them as general guidance rather than a firm commitment from us. For anything that matters to a decision, confirm it with our team.
9. Website availability
We work to keep this website available and up to date, but we provide it on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors, and we may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of it without notice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DataCleanHub is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, including lost profits, lost business, or loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Our responsibilities for paid project work are set out in the project agreement we sign with each client, and that agreement governs any liability relating to that work.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States. Any dispute relating to this website or these terms will be handled by the courts of the State of Maryland, and you agree to that jurisdiction.
